Ozil joined Fenerbahce in January this year

In the midst of the global pandemic, the 32-year-old used the opportunity to open up his clothing brand, M10Streetwear.

Ozil has 26million followers on Twitter and posted the tweet on Saturday, stating ‘exciting things coming soon’ alongside a close-up photo of glowing eyes with an eye emoji.

The Sun reports that the former Arsenal playmaker is set to announce his cryptocurrency in due course.

Sporting fans will have the opportunity to trade his brand items the same as Bitcoins and receive discounts on his gear.

It doesn’t end like that, the chance to meet him in person comes with huge excitement amongst his biggest fans.

The ex-Real Madrid player is not the only footballer to have ventured into cryptocurrency – Keisuke Honda and James Rodriguez have both gone in the same pathways.

The Japan star set up his own cryptocurrency last October, named as KSK Honda Coin. Colombia international Rodriguez publicly announced his JR10 Token currently in June 2020.

Even renowned star and former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, has also got their own brands that are clearly reflecting their own identity.

Ozil is not on his own, Harry Kane is in the same phase with his own HK28 firm that will reportedly cover everything from toilet rolls, cosmetics and toothpaste.

The World Cup winner has not only grown his MK10 brand to capitalise on business ventures.

Before joining Turkish outfit Fenerbahce, he played a pivotal role at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic by supplying 1,400 free school meals per day across schools in North London, alongside raising profits from a football brand to Italian children and openly speaking out against police brutality in Nigeria.

The veteran is restoring his best form in Turkey and scoring three times in nine appearances across all competitions.
