Pooled Employer Plan Disclosure Forms Approved by Labor Agency

The U.S. Labor Department’s employee benefits arm rolled out reporting adjustments that will let pooled workplace retirement plans file annual disclosures for the first time early next year.

Revisions outlined in a final rule Tuesday modify the instructions pooled employer plans will use to file reports for groups of employers operating under a single plan for the 2021 plan year.

Permanent adjustments to the annual Form 5500 employee benefits plans must use are on hold, the Employee Benefits Security Administration said in the rule.
