Govt trying to control prices of essential commodities: Miftah

Finance Minister Miftah Ismail has said that the Government is trying its level best to control the prices of essential commodities and people will soon hear good news.

Talking to media in Karachi today [Tuesday], he said that the prices of wheat flour and sugar available in the Utility Sores has already been reduced, while steps are being taken to control the prices of other essential goods in the general market.

Talking about the incident in Masjid-e-Nabvi (PBUH), Miftah Ismail expressed his profound displeasure and said that PTI’s politics of abuse and incivility has led the situation to this point.

He said it is also our responsibility to teach our children and politically train our workers on how to behave.

Replying a question about the corruption cases of the previous government, Miftah Ismail said that investigations will continue and all the cases will be thoroughly looked into to bring the corrupt people to justice.
