U.S. stock futures pointed to losses early on Thursday after stunning gains the previous day as President Donald Trump partly reversed course on his planned tariffs.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were down 524 points, or 1.3%. S&P 500 futures were dropping 1.7% and Nasdaq 100 futures were down 1.9%.
The S&P 500 had its best day since October 2008 on Wednesday after Trump said he would place a 90-day pause on so-called reciprocal tariffs.
