Vikram Solar has secured a major order from L&T Construction for the supply of 336 MW of high-efficiency solar modules, which will be deployed at Khavda, Gujarat.
The company will deliver its latest Hypersol G12R modules, based on N-type technology, featuring improved bifaciality of up to 80%, enhanced performance in high temperatures, and minimal year-on-year degradation (≤0.4%). These modules are expected to boost Balance-of-System (BOS) efficiency and lower the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), making solar power more cost-effective and widely accessible.
Commenting on the development, Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, Vikram Solar, said, “The region holds immense potential for solar energy, and this project will play a pivotal role in harnessing that opportunity. Each project we deliver is a testament to the trust placed in Vikram Solar’s technology, performance, and commitment to excellence.”
ACME Solar has placed an order for a 2 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with Chuzhou Lishen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd, through POSCO International Corporation and China FAW Group Import & Export Co., Ltd. POSCO International, a global integrated business company based in Korea, counts green energy among its core focus sectors.
The order will be delivered in phases over the next six to 10 months and deployed across ACME Solar’s FDRE (Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy) and standalone BESS projects, scheduled for commissioning within 12 to 18 months.
Meanwhile, SPML Infra, in a joint venture with JWIL Infra (SPML holding a 51% share), has been awarded a ₹1,438 crore ($163 million, inclusive of GST) project from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Bharatpur, Rajasthan.
The project, part of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), aims to strengthen water supply infrastructure across the region and includes construction as well as 10 years of operations and maintenance (O&M).
“We are honoured to partner with the Government of Rajasthan on this vital Jal Jeevan Mission project, which will provide safe drinking water to more than 1.5 million people in Dholpur. This order reflects the government’s confidence in SPML Infra’s ability to deliver critical water infrastructure with lasting impact,” said Abhinandan Sethi, Managing Director of SPML Infra.
In Monday’s trade, shares of Vikram Solar were up 5.81% at ₹341.60, Acme Solar Holdings rose 4.39% to ₹309.30, while SPML Infra slipped 0.65% to ₹290.55.
