Shares of Travelers and 3M are seeing strong returns Monday morning, lifting the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Travelers TRV and 3M MMM are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA is trading 162 points, or 0.5%, higher. Travelers’s shares are up $1.94 (1.2%) while those of 3M have risen $1.24, or 1.2%, combining for an approximately 21-point bump for the Dow. Dow DOW, American Express AXP, and Goldman Sachs GS are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
